What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is what enables our school to grow each year. It is money to support the school's current-year operating expenses. These gifts make up the difference between what tuition covers and the actual cost of running the school.
Why is it so important that I give? High participation is a vote of confidence. For current parents, it demonstrates support for the school's mission and recognition of the important role the Center is playing in the positive development and education of their child. It is a way for parents of former students and grandparents to honor the school for the impact the school had on their child's/grandchild's education and development. It is a way for those in the community to support the education of young children in their area. This percentage also has an impact on potential gifts from outside funding sources. Most foundations consider parent participation rates before agreeing to donate funds to a school.
What is the money used for?
Operating expenses, such as teacher's salaries and benefits, teaching tools, education technology, equipment, and continuing education for staff.
What is this Annual Fund goal? We aim for 100% participation to the Annual Fund from current parents. The staff and teaching staff give at 100 percent.
How do matching gifts impact Annual Fund?
Many employers will match their staff's philanthropic contributions. Matching gifts provide the opportunity to double or triple your gift. Contact your employer for more information. Usually there is a form you need to fill out hardcopy or online. It usually only takes a few minutes and can result in significant dollars for CCC.
Other Gift Options:
Honor/Memorial gifts are a great way for a student, parents or friends to honor someone on a special occasion or as a memorial to a loved one. If you wish to make such a gift in memory of or in honor of someone special, please contact the Development Office.
Tribute gifts provide a way for parents, students, grandparents, and friends of our school community to honor someone on a special occasion. Such gifts can be made in mention of a graduation, new baby, birthday, anniversary, etc. To make a tribute gift, please contact the Development Office.
